Initial England U18 Squad Announced

Basketball England have announced an initial 34-man squad for the under-18’s age group for the upcoming year.

The 1997-born generation will most likely be led by Josh Steel while a number of talented ’98s feature with several members of England’s under-16 squad that achieved bronze in Macedonia this summer, also included.

In 2015, the under-18’s will compete in Division B at the European Championships after suffering relegation earlier this summer. Aiden Gastaldi-Davies and Steel both have the chance of helping England attempt to return to Division A while the likes of Carl Wheatle, Sam Japhet-Mathias and Luke Mitchell will be determined to continue their success at international level.
