Kavell Bigby-Williams Has Near Triple-Double in NJCAA Tournament Opener

Kavell Bigby-Williams was one rebound away from another triple-double as he helped lead Gillette College to a 73-72 victory in the Second Round of the NJCAA Tournament.

The former GB U20 forward racked up an impressive stat-line consisting of 13 points, nine rebounds as well as 10 blocks in over 36 minutes of action.

Bigby-Williams has averaged 17 points per game along with 13.7 rebounds in 33 appearances this season, which has caught the interest of several D1 schools.

Dwayne Orija is also playing alongside Bigby-Williams for Gillette and the British duo will be looking to go deep into the tournament.

Gillette College are the No.8 seeds after winning their Regional Tournament to make the Championship Tourney and next face No.1 seeds Trinity Valley in the Quarter-Finals.

The Pronghorns are now an incredible 33-1 on the season.
