It has been a week of career-highs for British basketball players in the US college system, with Kofi Josephs being the third player to have a career night.
Following on from Teddy Okereafor and Adam Thoseby, Senior guard Josephs scored a career high 24 points to lead the No. 16 Fort Lewis College men’s basketball team to a 76-59 win at Colorado School of Mines Saturday night Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo. in NCAA Division II action.
Birmingham’s Josephs came off the bench to make 9 of 12 field goals in 26 minutes of action. Fifteen of his points came from long range where he sank 5 of 8 from behind the arc.
Josephs, whose previous season-high was 15 against CSU-Pueblo, is averaging 7.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 12.2 minutes per outing.
FLC improves to 12-2 overall and 7-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
