England U15 Development Squad Cut to 17

England Under-15 head coach Jesse Sazant has cut the development team down to 17, reducing the squad by 9 players since the original roster was released.

The seventeen man squad is as follows:

Seventeen Man England Under-15 Development Squad

Tolu Babalola, Haringey Hawks
Daniel Bate, Torbay Tigers
Daniel Evans, Leeds Carnegie
Joshua Foulds, City of Birmingham
Aidan Gastaldi-Davies, Hertfordshire Warriors
Kemar Hawes, Peckham Pride
Raheem Idris, Manchester
Calvin Kintu, NASSA
Keenan Lawrence, Bristol Storm
Ben Maranan, NASSA
Luke Mitchell, Notts Nova
Freddie Ratliff, Ipswich
Joshua Round, Northants
Joseph Tunney, Bucks Hornets
Daniel Walters, Manchester
Hakim Williams, Notts Nova
Jason Witter, Lewisham Thunder

Sazant commented that despite a lot of progress since their last camp, a lot of work still needs to be done:

“There are some good young players in this group and a lot of multi-positional players giving us a lot of options going forward. However, the players need to put significant time into their shooting development and into consistently playing from a low stance (especially defensively) as these are significant weaknesses across the squad.”

What do you think of the roster as it stands? And the cuts?
