Goldsbrough will be a Friar next season

Lee Goldsbrough of EBL Senior Men’s D1 side Manchester Magic has committed to NCAA Division 1 school Providence College.

The 1991 born, 6’9 forward missed a portion of GB U20′s training camp the week before last whilst out in the US visiting schools.

Providence is a storied college basketball team, competing in the tough Big East conference at an arena has been touted by many as the most difficult  play at in the Big East due to crazy student section. The Friars have rountinely averaged over 10,000 fans per game during the 30+ year history.

Hoopsfix wants to wish Lee all the best with his career as a Friar, I will be following!

You can see highlights of Lee playing for Manchester Magic on Youtube.

Brilliant news, congratulations to Lee. First Brit in the Big East since Andrew Sullivan?
