Fresh off winning the Mountain West Conference regular season title, Utah State’s British duo Great Osobor and Josh Uduje have been recognised in the conference postseason awards.
Former Myerscough big man was named Great Osobor was named both the Player and Newcomer of the Year and former London Thunder junior guard Josh Uduje picked up the Co-Sixth Man of the Year.

Osobor also earned first team all-MW accolades.
Osobor and Uduje led the Aggies to their first-ever Mountain West regular season title with their 14-4 record in Mountain West play its third-best in its 11 years in the conference.
Osobor was second in the league in MW play in rebounds per game (8.94), field goal percentage (.579) and defensive rebounds per game (6.11), while also ranking in the top-15 in points per game (17.78, t-3rd), steals per game (1.61, t-3rd), offensive rebounds per game (2.83, 5th), blocks per game (1.39, 6th), minutes played per game (35.24, 7th), assists per game (3.11, 13th) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.33), 14th).
He scored in double figures in all but one game in league play, while logging eight double-doubles.
Uduje scored in double figures in six games in league play, including a season-best 20 points off the bench at Wyoming.
In MW action, Uduje averaged 8.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 40.1 percent (57-of-12) from the field.
Utah State men’s basketball (26-5, 14-4 MW) is the top-seed in the upcoming Mountain West Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will play either eighth-seeded Wyoming (15-16, 8-10 MW) or ninth-seeded Fresno State (11-20, 4-14 MW) in a quarterfinal game on Thursday, March 14.
