Derby Trailblazers guard Blake Bowman has verbally committed to NCAA Division 1 school University of Missouri Kansas City for the 2021-22 season.
The 2019-20 EABL Northern Conference MVP and Hoopsfix All-Star will complete his final season in the UK this year, where he plays NBL Division 1 with Derby as well as the EABL, before heading to the US, something he is very much looking forward to:
“Playing college basketball has be a goal of mine ever since I picked up a ball, so being able to go and play D1 at UMKC definitely feels great,” the 6’5″ wing told Hoopsfix.
“The coaches have made me feel very welcome and made a real effort to connect with my family and I. They also have great facilities and I believe they have a great environment for me to thrive on and off the court.
“I see myself being able to come into the system at UMKC and thrive! I see my role being the guy who can come in and play with intensity on both ends of the floor and do what I can to win.”
