Former Great Britain Under-20s Mo Soluade and Jules Dang Akodo have won the LEB Gold Playoffs title after their San Pablo Burgos side got a 86-85 win over Palencia to sweep the finals 3-0 and secure promotion to the ACB for next season.

Soluade had 11 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals for his best game of the series, whilst minutes were hard to come by for the 1996 born Akodo, as Burgos overturned a 13 point deficit with a 32-18 final period to take the win.

It meant the team went undefeated through the entire post-season, going 9-0 overall, as they claimed the title on the road in front of 1500 fans, with 350 of their own fans having joined them for the trip.

Burgos won their last 13 games overall, finishing the regular season on a 4-0 run.
