Ipswich and England Under-18 big man Josh Apple has been called up to play in the Hoopsfix All Star Classic Under-19 game on Sunday June 5th in Brixton.
The 1998 born forward led the EABL in rebounding (12.8), and was amongst the leaders in blocks, and shooting percentage to finish with the second best efficiency rating in the league.
“It’s an honour to be selected to play against the top prospects in the country,” Apple said.
“This is the first time I’ve taken part in something like this, so I’m looking forward to going against certain players and having fun.”
Apple will be suiting up for Team Black as he replaces Melkisedek Moreaux who has withdrawn for personal reasons.
