Updated England U18 Squad to Open Camp in Manchester

The England Under-18 Men join up for their third training camp of the campaign this week at the National Basketball Performance Centre at Belle Vue in Manchester.

Following on from their opening camp in Sheffield and then the Haris Memorial Tournament over Christmas, Steve Bucknall’s squad still stands at 29, with 27 heading to Manchester on Tuesday to be put through their paces with a camp and match up with Division 1 side Lancashire Spinners before camp closing on Thursday evening.

The updated Under-18 squad includes a number of new names not on the initial list, who weren’t present at the initial camp or who weren’t involved at Haris, such as Derby’s Brian Amabilino-Perez, a dual UK/Spanish passport holder, England U16 Euro representative Cameron Bett, Leicester’s Johde Campbell, Manchester’s Recardo Eaton-Barnes, Barking Abbey/Kent’s RJ Eytle-Rock, London Greenhouse’s Kayne Henry, US-based Charlie Prager, and Eastside’s Josh Kanini.

Two more US based players and former Under-16s, in Nelson Boachie-Yiadom and Jacob Iwowo, will not be present in Manchester, but are still in the squad and expected to be in the running for the final 12 man European Championship team.
