Jordan Spencer played an all-round role in helping Augustana University secure its first outright Northern Sun Intercollegiate Championship since the 1977-78 season, on Friday.
The sophomore guard dished out nine assists to go with 12 points and six rebounds as the Vikings recorded a 98-77 victory against Upper Iowa to improve to 23-2 on the season, and 20-1 in NSIC play.

Augustana then closed out the regular season with a 66-55 success against Winona State with Spencer collecting a season-high 11 rebounds to go along with three points and four assists.
In 26 games, Spencer averaged 8.9 points, 6.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game having started all but the final game of the season.
Augustana earn the South Division No.1 seed following their record-breaking 21 wins in the conference, and host North Division No.8 seed Minnesota Crookston in the first round of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament.
