England’s under-16 squad for the upcoming European Championships in Lithuania has been announced by Basketball England.
Alan Keane’s side compete in Division A after achieving promotion last summer with their bronze medal.
“Heading into the Euros the spirits will be high and the adrenaline will be pumping with excitement,” said Keane. “I have to give huge credit to my coaching staff who have done an extensive scouting report on our group opposition while our team manager and physio continue to keep the ship moving forward on the road to excellence.
“While many may not give us a shot at Division A based on our recent set of results there will be no lack or confidence or fear of failure as the countries best group of 12 players take on the powerhouses of Europe in two weeks.”
