Matthew Bryan-Amaning Signs for Dominican Republic Side Soles

Matthew Bryan-Amaning is heading to the Dominican Republic to join Soles de Santo Domingo ahead of the new season that starts this week.

The GB forward had an impressive end to the season in Mexico where he claimed Finals MVP after helping Soles de Mexicali to the playoffs title.

MBA averaged 18.9 points per game, as well as 8.8 rebounds in 44 games for Soles, having begun the season in the German BBL with Ludwigsburg before his release.

The top division (LNB) in the Dominican Republic is formed of 8 teams separated into two conferences, and each team plays 20 games during the regular season, that runs until July 5th.

GB Senior Men are in action at the Copper Box a few weeks later when they host New Zealand on July 19th, and it puts into question whether MBA will be available for selection should his team go on a deep playoff run.
