BUCKLE FINALISES DOZEN FOR BELGIUM OPENER

Great Britain women’s coach Peter Buckle has finalised his 12-strong squad for Sunday’s opening EuroBasket Women qualifier against Belgium in Worcester, with Helen Naylor and Harriet Ottewill-Soulsby the two last cuts.

It remains a largely experienced group with seven survivors from last summer’s finals in France.

GB, who had a 3-3 record in the build-up, also face Lithuania and Macedonia in the qualification campaign.
