England U18 Women Finish Perfect In Group Stage
England made it 4 wins in a row yesterday by defeating Estonia 75-68, securing first place in Group C and advancing to the next stage of the competition.
Despite being more efficient from the field and out rebounding the Estonians, England could not grasp control of the game. At the beginning of the fourth quarter England were up by just four.
Michael Ball’s side received a spark with four minutes to go, Renee Busch stepped up and made back-to-back baskets before making a play for a team mate, leaving England up by nine and rolling through for the win.
Temitope Fagbenle produced yet another impressive performance, adding another double-double to her tournament stats with 17 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks. Gemma Bullard led on offense with 22 points, while Busch had her best game of the tournament thus far with 21.

In the next phase of the competition, England will face the Netherlands on Thursday, followed by the unbeaten Belarus on Friday.
