England U18 Women Beat Scotland, Remain Undefeated
England U18 Women never trailed as they made it three victories in a row with a 69-35 win against Scotland in the Division B FIBA European Championships.
England’s defense held the Scottish team to just 11 points in the first half, going into the break up 38-11. Scotland began to find a little form in a more even second half however it was not enough to slow England. Coach Michael Ball’s side keep up their efficient performance, extending their lead in the third and fourth quarters to win the game by 34 points.
Jessica Hurd exploded for 20 points, shooting 100% from the floor and 10/12 from the line. Hurd also grabbed 6 rebounds and a steal. Temitope Fagbenle racked up a double-double, for England, with of 12 points and 12 boards.
