British guard Quinn Ellis has been crowned the Best Under-22 player in Italy’s Serie A for the 2024/25 season.

At just 21 years old, Ellis has emerged as one of the brightest young talents in European basketball.

Despite his age, the Sheffield native has displayed the poise, control, and leadership of a seasoned pro, firmly establishing himself as a key figure in Trento’s campaign.

The combo guard’s breakout moment came during the Frecciarossa Final Eight, where he led Trento to their first-ever trophy in club history, earning MVP honours for a string of composed, high-level performances. It was a run that not only lifted silverware but cemented his reputation across the continent.

Under the guidance of head coach Paolo Galbiati, Ellis has grown into both a technical and emotional leader for the team. Known for his speed in transition, sharp decision-making in the pick-and-roll, and clutch shot-making, he’s been a constant problem for opposing defences.

A fan favourite in Trento and increasingly on the radar across Europe, Ellis’ is being rumoured to be signing with a Euroleague club for next season.
