Teresa Da Silva earns All-WAC Second Team, Newcomer Team honours

Teresa Da Silva has been rewarded for an impressive first season with Tarleton after landing spots in two end-of-season teams.

The junior guard was named to the All-WAC Second Team as well as the All-Newcomer Team having averaged 14.5 points per game on the season with 37.8 percent shooting from three-point range.

Da Silva set the school record for the most points score in a single-game in Division 1 with 31 points against Weber State in December.

Previously, Da Silva helped Arizona Western to success at JUCO level with two Conference Championships having been the Region Finals MVP and a member of the All-Conference First Team.

Da Silva came through the Barking Abbey academy; winning the WEABL title as well as playing three seasons in the WBBL, and also competed at the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic in 2019.
