Tia Freeman moved into the top-20 in the all-time scorers in WBBL Championship history after reaching the milestone of 1000 points.
The 22-year-old scored 19 points in a 71-83 victory for Essex Rebels over Manchester Met Mystics on Sunday to move from 991 to 1010 league points for her career.
Freeman started playing in the WBBL as a teenager and amassed 428 points at Oaklands Wolves before adding 283 points across two seasons with Nottingham Wildcats. A further 299 have now been scored while at Essex as Freeman climbs above former teammate Siobhan Prior into 19th place.
The all-round guard is also in the top-20 for rebounds and assists in the all-time leaderboards for the WBBL Championship having scored 1200+ points in all competitions.

There are nine active players in the top-20 league scoring list, while GB’s Georgia Gayle is next in line to join the ever-growing 1000-point club having moved to within 39 points of the milestone.
Freeman is currently averaging 11.5 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists across 10 league games for the Rebels.
