Great Britain Under-16s finished 10th at the Division B European Championships following a 83-60 loss at the hands of Ukraine on Saturday in Podgorica.
Michael Belle had 14 points to lead GB, Ifeoluwadara Adeyemi had 11 points, whilst Sultan Adewale had 8 points and 11 rebound, as GB were unable to recover from a slow start and were chasing the entire way.
“I think overall we can be happy with finishing 10th especially with how little prep we had going into the tournament,” Head Coach James Vear commented.
“We got better as the tournament went on but with no preparation games it’s always going to be difficult to know how good the team is and how the players will react in certain situations.”
