Great Britain Under-20s, Under-18s Learn Division A Opposition

Great Britain will have two youth teams competing in Division A this summer with the Under-20s and Under-18s both learning of their opponents after today’s draws.

The U20s won bronze, while the U18s took silver in 2017 European Championship campaigns and will make the step up this summer.

Lithuania, Montenegro and Turkey provide the opposition in Germany for the Under-20s as they head to Chemnitz from 14-22 July with Andreas Kapoulas having taken charge the past two years.

GB Under-18s head to Latvia with three host cities and they will too will face Lithuania and Montengro as well as Serbia in Group D with the tournament running from July 28- August 5.

Meanwhile, the Under-16s will be aiming to make the rise to Division A themselves this summer as they play in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 9-18 August.

They were drawn in Group A alongside Sweden, Portugal, Luxembourg, Romania and Ireland, while Scotland and Wales will field Under-16 teams in Division C of the European Championships.

Also, Ireland’s Senior Men were drawn against Malta and Andorra in the Small Countries European Championships.
