Teddy Okereafor Signs in Estonia for First Pro Deal

Teddy Okereafor has signed his first professional contract after joining KK Parnu, in Estonia, on a short-term deal until December.

The GB Senior guard recorded 15 points and nine rebounds on his Baltic Basketball League debut in a 64-72 home defeat.

Okereafor averaged 5.2 points and 4.0 assists (team-high) per game during this summer’s EuroBasket 2017 qualifying campaign.

The 23-year-old graduated from Rider University after averaging 12.1 points per game in his Senior year with a career-high of 38 points scored against Marist College, in January.

Okereafor has made a couple of appearances for NASSA in NBL competition this season including a 30-point outing against Thames Valley Cavaliers in the National Cup.

Parnu have had a number of injuries to start their campaign and are currently 2-2 in the Estonian top-flight and 0-3 in the Baltic League in a group that features teams from Latvia, Lithuania and Kazakhstan.
