Robinson Has Monster Second Half, NCAA Recap

Robinson played 32 minutes, and went 6/14 from the floor and 8/8 at the line whilst adding 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal. Walker added, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block in 34 minutes, going 6/12 from the floor (2/4 threes) and 5/6 at the line. Menelik Watson had 8 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 19 minutes for Marist, going 4/4 from the floor but 0/3 at the line.

Depleted Iowa State sneaked past Northern Illinois 72-63 for its seventh straight win. Jamie Vanderbeken played 38 minutes, having a tough night shooting the ball, going 4/13 from the field and 0/2 at the line for 11 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and a career high 6 blocks.

Central Connecticut State routed Massachusetts 92-63. Devan Bailey had a season high 7 assists as he got the starting point guard spot, along with 2 points (1.3 shooting), 4 rebounds and 3 steals in 32 minutes.

Monmouth (N.J.) came from behind to beat Bryant 66-57 in Northeast Conference action. Phil Wait had 9 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks in 24 minutes, shooting 4/7 from the field and 1/2 at the line.

Ranked Michigan State Spartans held on for a 65-62 victory over Northwestern, giving Northwestern their first back to back losses of the season. Alex Marcotullio had 3 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal in 16 minutes on 1/3 shooting.

Wisconsin-Green Bay beat Houston Baptist 77-61 as as Ben Daniels made his season debut. Daniels who has been out of action due to unknown health reasons, played 12 minutes, missing his only field goal attempt, while grabbing 3 rebounds, dishing 1 assist and blocking 1 shot.

Rhode Island suffered an 84-59 loss to Florida. Ben Eaves played 13 minutes, missing his only 3 point attempt to remain scoreless, whilst dishing 1 assist and blocking 2 shots.

Wagner got past Quinnipiac 73-68 in another matchup of Brits. Clayfell Harris had 2 points and 1 block on 1/1 shooting in 9 minutes, whilst Raheem May Thompson registered a DNP.

Eastern Illinois got an 80-47 victory over Anderson, Ind. Levi Noel played 4 minutes, registering 1 rebound and 1 steal.

Fresno State held on to defeat Nevada 80-74. Patrick Nyeko registered a DNP.
