Stony Brook held on to defeat Maryland-Baltimore County 64-56 on Sunday in the America East Conference opener for both teams. Danny Carter finished with 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal on 3/6 shooting (2/2 at the line) in 27 minutes, as well as coming up with 3-pointers both times UMBC pulled to within one.

St. Bonaventure lost to Marshall 74-65 despite Ogo Adegboye having his second highest assist total this season. Ogo played 36 minutes before fouling out, finishing with 5 points on 2/8 shooting, but dishing out 7 assists, grabbing 2 rebounds and getting 1 steal.

Maine defeated Boston University 65-52. Alasdair Fraser had 6 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks in 26 minutes on 3/4 shooting.

College of Charleston lost to Morehead State 69-49. Andrew Lawrence played 25 minutes, but struggled shooting the ball going 1/8 from the floor (1/6 threes) to finish with 3 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists.

Portland State got a 79-72 victory over Idaho State Sunday afternoon. Paul Guede had 5 points, 3 rebounds and 1 steal in 16 minutes, going 1/2 from the floor and 2/2 at the line.

Davidson suffered a heavy 80-52 loss to Vanderbilt. Ben Allison played 6 minutes, finishing with 2 points on 1/2 shooting and 1 assist.

Lafayette defeated Fairleigh Dickinson 98-92 in double overtime. Sam Fernley registered a DNP.

Clemson defeated The Citadel 69-54. Morakinyo Williams once again registered a DNP (injury?).

Saturday 1st December
SMU defeated Dallas Christian 82-49 Saturday. Myles Luttman had 4 points and 1 rebound in 4 minutes of action, going 1/1 from the floor and 2/2 at the line.

St. John’s survived a late scare to pull out a 67-65 victory over Providence on Saturday night. Lee Goldsbrough played 2 minutes, missing his only three point attempt to remain scoreless.
