Premier North
Weather conditions once again limited the BUCS Premier North to just one game as Northumbria travelled down to Sheffield and picked up a 64-62 victory. Northumbria opened the game well and despite a big third quarter run from Hallam, bringing the game to within two points, the northern side held on throughout the fourth to get the win. Northumbria were led by Ta’yani Clark’s 23 point performance whilst Sheffield’s Emma Camp and Christina Grima combined for 35 (20 and 15 respectively).

Premier South

London Met made the journey over to Bristol with the game ending in a 102-42 victory for the London side. London were led by  Vesela Marinova, who totalled 29 points, and Triin Taal’s 21. Bristol were led by Alessandra Berti who finished with 15.
In the only other game in the Women’s Premier South yesterday, UWIC showed their class in a 104-37 rout of Brighton University. Leah Dehaan exploded for a huge 38 points as UWIC cruised through to win.
