Harefield Academy and London United to Launch New Basketball Academy
London United are teaming up with The Harefield Academy
The Harefield Academy and London United are teaming up to launch an Under 18 sporting excellence basketball programme. The Academy will feature no less than 10 hours of basketball training timetabled into the academic week from Monday-Friday, alongside strength and conditioning provided by Watford FC staff as well as under 18 National League basketball and a chance to play at EBL D2 with the men’s team.
On the academic side of things, Harefield offer a BTEC National Sporting Excellence, a vocational course that integrates theoretical content with your basketball training worth 2 A-levels, as well as other AS and A-levels that will run alongside your basketball training.
If you’re interested in attending this new academy, they are holding an open evening at the end of May.
