And boy did they come! The overrall standard I would say was probably the highest of all the Midnight Madness Summer stops and resulted in some top notch basketball.
In the Under-18s Robert Gilchrist was the man of the event, attempting to dunk at every opportunity, swatting away a ton of shots (even caught one!) and showing why he is relocating across the pond this season. Another shout out goes to Moe Giffari for the sweetest dish of Midnight Madness 09 with an over the shoulder no look on the break to KC Onwuka!
In the Under-23’s I was in awe of one man-Ogo Adegboye. This guy is 6ft at best, ripped to shreds and straight up took over the whole event. Putting on a clinic, he was banging NBA 3’s, crossing people up, making nice dishes and getting to the hole whenever he liked. I would put him as one of the top British point guards in the country despite still being able to play under-23s! One other man, a certain Clayfell Harris was dominant inside. Dunking everything, rebounding tenaciously and blocking shots, Clayfell had his way with whomever he pleased. Jordan Parrish played nice, Raheem May-Thompson was once again playing big as was Armand.
Anyway, check the vid and drop a comment!
*Note: I will be releasing individual Ogo Adegboye, Clayfell Harris and Robert Gilchrist mixtapes, which is why most of their highlights are not in here.
