Jeremy Sochan has been named to the All-Rookie second team in the end-of-season NBA awards.

The first round draft pick averaged 11.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game across 56 appearances for San Antonio Spurs and is one of six rookies to have at least 600 points, 200 rebounds and 100 assists, despite missing 26 games due to injury.

He finished the season ranked in eight rookie top-10 categories.

Sochan recorded two double-doubles – both coming in the final month of the regular season – with a career-high 30 points achieved against Phoenix Suns in January.

The England native, and Poland national team member, was joined in the lineup by Jalen Duren, Tari Eason, Jaden Ivey and Jabari Smith.

Sochan becomes the first Spurs player to receive All-Rookie honours since Kawhi Leonard in the 2011-12 NBA season.
