Deane Williams has become just the second Brit to win a Basketball Champions League title, after securing the championship with Telekom Baskets Bonn on Sunday.
Williams and Bonn only trailed after the first possession of the game and rapidly took over and never looked back to get a 77-70 win over Hapoel Jerusalem in front of 10,437 fans at the Martin Carpena arena in Malaga.

The 6’8″ forward from Bristol finished with four points, two rebounds, a block and one nasty dunk in the final, as he has been a major contributor on the season to the German side who also finished top of the domestic league as they are about to begin the playoffs.
Williams joins Kareem Queeley who won in 2020, and what is believed to be a single digit number of Brits to win a European title.
