London Lions continued their summer haul of GB international talent after announcing the signing of Tarik Phillip for the upcoming season.
Phillip joins international teammates Luke Nelson, Ovie Soko, Mo Soluade and Kareem Queeley in signing with the Lions in a move that was first rumoured by MVP’s Mark Woods.
The 28-year-old hails from Brooklyn, USA, but made a GB Senior debut in 2017 and is expected to be in the running to make the final roster at EuroBasket next month.
Phillip began his pro career in Hungary five years ago and has had spells in the NBA G League as well as across Europe in Spain, Turkey and Israel with Basketball Champions League appearances in between.
His addition follows the signing of American forward Sam Dekker to take the Lions roster to 11 ahead of their EuroCup debut this season.
