Greek veteran Kosta Koufos signs with London Lions

London Lions have added significant experience to their roster with the signing of former NBA veteran, Kosta Koufos.

The move was first reported by Marc Stein with Koufas having spent 11 years playing in the NBA with nearly 700 appearances from 2008-2019.

The 33-year-old returned to Europe with stints at CSKA Moscow and Olympiacos before a brief spell in the NBA G-League.

Koufos becomes the sixth confirmed signing for the Lions with American-British big Joshua Sharma and Kareem Queeley announced earlier this week.

Newcomer Mo Soluade and the returning Ovie Soko could be joined by further international teammates with the Lions understood to be linked with two more GB stars.
