Check out London Lions making their debut in FIBA Europe Cup action on Wednesday evening as they face Donar Groningen in the Netherlands at 7pm UK time.
Vince Macaulay’s side had been set to compete in last season’s edition but were forced to withdraw due to COVID-19 regulations and enter following their defeat in the Basketball Champions League qualifiers, in September.
The Lions have made a strong start to the domestic season with five wins from five in the BBL Cup including two home wins over Surrey Scorchers and Bristol Flyers this past weekend.
Groningen reached the FIBA Europe Cup semi-finals in 2018 and last season failed to reach the Dutch Basketball League finals for the first time since 2013.
