Maisie Evison, Ines Goryanova, Katie Januszewska and Anna Nevison will all take part in the 3-point shootout at the 2021 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic in London, on Saturday.
The four participants of the Under-19 Women’s game will compete individually alongside Alex Distras, Sam Grant, Greg Wild and Owen Young from the Under-19 Men’s game.
Each player will have a minute to complete their opening round attempt with balls placed at five racks with the fifth [money] ball counting double. The top three go through to the final round, where the player with the highest score will be crowned the winner.
In 2019, Imogen Cook was runner-up to Rhys Sundimalt in the inaugural HASC 3-point shootout with the former Charnwood guard netting a score of 12 in each round.
Goryanova is the youngest participant at this year’s Classic at the age of 15 and was part of the London Lions’ double-winning roster in the WBBL, while Katie Januszewska also won silverware in the top-flight with Leicester Riders.
Evison also showcased her shooting range in the WBBL as part of Nottingham Wildcats’ academy contingent with Nevison representing WNBL D1 side Solent Kestrels in the contest.
The 3-point shootout is set to begin at 11:30am on Saturday with the entire event live streamed at hoopsfixallstarclassic.com.
