Leicester Riders have moved to sign GB forward Ali Fraser after season-ending injuries to Mo Walker and Raheem May-Thompson.
The 28-year-old spent the past three seasons with Glasgow Rocks before leaving to join French NM1 side Avignon alongside departing head coach Vincent Lavandier.
However, with uncertainty around the league due to the coronavirus pandemic, Fraser will be making a return to the BBL and set to make his debut in league action next week.
“I’m happy to have the opportunity to be back playing in the BBL again,” he said. “I am looking forward to practicing with the team and getting the league season started. I have been following the games in the BBL Cup and can’t wait to get back on court.
“Hopefully this team can continue to build on the success that has been seen over the years from this organisation.”
