Nottingham Wildcats have confirmed the additions of GB juniors Rebecca Dwomoh and Lilly Annim to their 2020-21 WBBL.
The duo join academy product Shaniya Rose in providing depth to the squad with the Wildcats also bringing back Siobhan Prior, Tia Freeman, Chelsey Shumpert, Jasmine Joyner and Simone Costa.
Dwomoh arrives following several years in Spain and was also selected as a participant at the cancelled 2020 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic.
“After working with Becky in the past I’m excited to help her grow this year in Wildcats colours,” said head coach Kenrick Liburd. “Her ability to rebound the ball and her high basketball IQ will serve her well in the WBBL league.”
Meanwhile, Annim has previous WBBL experience having spent the last two years with BA London Lions with 23 league appearances, and now makes the switch to the Wildcats.
The Wildcats academy opened the WEABL season with victory over Sheffield on Wednesday and the Senior side open the WBBL Cup against Newcastle Eagles on Saturday.
