There was only one person people were talking about after Great Britain’s tough loss against Austria on Thursday night at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester: Sylven Landesberg.
And though of course it pains us that it was against our very own GB, any basketball purist can only marvel at his performance; Landesberg poured in a 40-point first half on his way to 49 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in his debut for the Austria National Team, leading them to a win over Great Britain in their EuroBasket 2021 Pre-Qualifier.
