Sacha Killeya-Jones helped Kentucky University to their fourth straight Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship.
The Sophomore forward – who attended Great Britain Senior Men’s camp last summer prior to EuroBasket 2017 – produced some big moments down the stretch in the Wildcats’ 77-72 victory over Tennessee.
SKJ finished with 2 points, 3 rebounds and 2 blocks in 20 minutes of action including ESPN’s Play of the Game with a huge put-back late in the second half.

“How about Sacha?,” Head Coach John Calipari said. “Look, PJ (Washington) and Sacha and even Quade (Green)—Quade did some good stuff today. But Sacha just had to wait his turn, and he was ready for it. Big play. That stick-back was huge.”
The 19-year-old also contributed 6 points, 5 boards and 2 blocks off the bench in Kentucky’s 86-63 victory over University of Alabama in the semi-final.
Kentucky were seeded fifth in the South Regional and open the NCAA Championship against 12th seeds Davidson.
