Two Great Britain teammates battled it out in the ACB on Sunday, as Dan Clark and Luke Nelson squared off in the Liga Endesa.
The competition seemed to bring out the best in each other, as both players exploded for some of their best games on the season; Dan Clark had 25 points and 4 rebounds along with a huge clutch three down the stretch (5-for-7 threes, 10-for-16 overall), whilst Luke Nelson finished with 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, going 5-for-6 from beyond the arc, 8-for-11 overall.
Clark is now averaging 11.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 22 minutes per game, with Nelson averaging 8.6 points, 1.8 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 25 mins per outing.
It was Clark’s Kipuzkoa side that ended up with the 94-88 road victory, improving to 8-10 in 12th place in the table, as freshly-promoted Real Betis dropped to 4-14 at the bottom of the league table.
