Kingsley Okoroh Posts Triple-Double in Exhibition Victory

Kingsley Okoroh produced an impressive triple-double in an exhibition victory for Cal on Monday night.

The senior centre recorded 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks in 30 minutes of action to help the Bears to a convincing 81-52 win ahead of their regular-season opener.

Okroh averaged 4.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game during the 2016-17 season and is on the watch list for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year award.

“We wanted to enjoy our first game, especially for the freshman, and it was satisfying. I think we could have beaten them by more, but you take the win every day,” Okoroh told the school’s website.

“I think everyone looked good and we have a good outlook going forward.”
