Fletcher led his side to a third successive BBL Cup title in January where he picked up the MVP award in the final for the third year running.
The 28-year-old had 18 games of 20+ points in the league this campaign with a season-high of 34 points against Worcester Wolves.
Fletcher now has six MVP awards to his name in three seasons in the BBL having also won six pieces of silverware including the clean sweep of 2015-16 in his first year with Newcastle.
Earlier this week, Fletcher was also honoured in the annual BJA awards where he was voted as the BBL Player of the Year.
Fletcher and the Eagles head to The O2 this weekend to take on Leicester Riders in the 2017 BBL playoff final.
