The Great Britain Senior Men dropped to 0-3 in their preparation so far with a 92-80 loss to Slovenia on Saturday evening in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The return of Dan Clark, who missed their opening two games due to insurance issues, provided a boost to the tune of a game-high 24 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the depth of the Slovenians who saw five players reach double figures.
Zoran Dragic had 21 points, while his brother and captain, Goran Dragic dished out 13 assists for Slovenia.

Kieron Achara added 12 points, while Ben Gordon was limited to 7 on 2 of 8 shooting after his strong debut last week.
Slovenia took the lead 5 minutes into the game and would not give it up the rest of the way, despite GB tying it up briefly in the second period. Multiple rallies from GB saw them get to within 6 in the final period but they were unable to get over the hump.
GB will now return home, as they prepare to face the Netherlands for two games on Friday 26th (closed door) and Saturday 27th August (7pm tip) at the NBPC in Manchester.
