GB U20s Squad Trimmed to 14

Great Britain Under-20’s moved closer to finalising their 12-man squad for the upcoming European Championships with the release of two more players announced, today.

Liam Carpenter and Shaquille Walters are the players cut from the squad with Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye now joined up with the team following their recent tournament in Portugal.

Andreas Kapoulas’ side went 2-1 in Anadia with victories over Belarus and the hosts, Portugal, and are now just over a week away from starting their Division B campaign in Greece when they start the tournament against Albania.

The remaining 14-man squad is as follows:

Two more players will be released from the squad before Saturday when the team flies out to Athens.

GB U20s will then face Greece and Portugal in friendlies before the European Championships begin on July 15.
