England Under-18 Final Squad Announced for Europeans

After a successful 3-0 sweep of the Netherlands this week, Head Coach Steve Bucknall has announced the final 12 that will represent England at this summer’s FIBA Division B Under-18 European Championships in Skopje, Macedonia.

Ashley Briggs and Charlie Prager are the two final releases for the team, but remain on the reserve list ready to step in if needed.

Luke Mitchell, Carl Wheatle and Henri Langton return to the U18 squad for the second straight summer, while Joshua Edwards, Nelson Boachie-Yiadom, and Micah Savery-Richards all make the step up from England U16s last summer – along with Zion Tordoff who was a final cut from the U16s last year.

Meanwhile, it will be England debuts at a European Championships for Daniel Akin, Brian Amabilino-Perez, Josh Apple, RJ Eytle-Rock, and Romario Spence.
