England U16’s Initial Squad Announced

The initial squad for the England under-16’s has been announced with three returning players who competed at the European Championships included.

Jacob Round, Daniel Ogoro and Real Madrid bound Kareem Queeley are part of the 31-man squad chosen following the Regional Development Tournament at the weekend.

“I am very excited about what I observed at the U15 RDT this weekend,” said Head Coach Alan Keane. “It is clear to see that better coaching and the influence of the RPC is having a positive impact on the players. There is more improvements to be made that will come with time, however based on the evidence from the U15 RDT the playing style and technical ability of the players is developing. I’m excited about the players I’ve selected and I believe we have the players we need to achieve our goals.”

Dates and the venue for the first camp in December has yet to be announced.
