Alex Roberts top scored with a game-high 24 points while Kyle Carey added 17 points and Carl Wheatle contributed another double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

England and Georgia traded 7-0 runs early on before Carey opened his account with a triple to make it 10-9. After Georgia went up by four, Wheatle closed the quarter with four points to make it 18-18 at the end of the first.

A 12-2 run at the start of the second put Georgia ahead in double figures before England hit back with a 10-2 reply to tie the game at 32.

Carey scored five points in quick succession to spark a 7-0 close to the half with England leading 39-34 heading into the interval.

Roberts scored eight points in a 10-0 opener to the second half for England as they built a 15-point lead.

A triple from Luke Mitchell kept the lead in double figures before Georgia mounted a fightback with an 8-2 run to close within six points.

Roberts nailed what seemed to be the dagger three with less than two minutes to go to make it 72-63 only for Georgia to make it a four-point game with a 5-0 run.

However, England were able to hold on and claim victory to finish with a 5-4 record in their Euro campaign.
