The now 6’0″ point guard, who turned 16 in November, plays for Peckham Pride and was part of the Division A promotion winning England U16 side that played at the 2014 Division B European Championships (averaging 6.7 points. 1.3 assists and 1.8 steals).
Here he is when he was 14 and 15 years old dominating with Peckham in various Junior Finals events – the 2013 Junior Final Fours in Sheffield (as an U14), the 2014 U15 Final Fours in Worcester where he picked up MVP (finishing one assist short of triple double, with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists), and a national title, and the 2014 U16 National Cup Final in Manchester.
Lodge, who played in the 2014 Hoopsfix All Star Classic, is now leading the Pride to a 12-1 record in the U16 Premier South, and an 11-1 record in the U18 South III Conference.
He was named to the preliminary England U18 squad in September but has chosen to focus on his GCSE’s this year with an intention to return to the national team programme next year.
