The Great Britain secured an 11th place finish in their first year at the Division A European Championships, with a 85-82 win over Slovenia on Sunday morning in Crete.
Luke Nelson came up big again, hitting a three with 45 seconds left to break a tie that would end up being the game winner. He finished with his tournament high of 25 points, going 6/10 from beyond the arc, while his UC Irvine backcourt running made Alex Young added 17 going 4/6 from beyond the arc, along with 10 assists and 6 rebounds.

Rowell Graham had 13, with Elliott Sentance and Kavell Bigby-Williams adding 9 each for GB, who finished shooting 46.2% from the field.
