England U16 Squad for Sweden Series Selected

U16 Women head coach Lee Davie has announced a 16 strong squad for the three game series against Sweden at Oaklands College.

“Sweden have been a consistent force in Division A over the last 7 years, and will be a good test for our team,” said Davie.

“For us to achieve our goal of gaining promotion to Division A, it is going to require us to play to an A division standard and be better than 15 other teams over the European Championships.”

“It’s going to be a great opportunity for us to see what that looks like, and use this experience as a measuring stick for where we are right now and where we want to be by the European Championships in July.”

The side will face Sweden at 4:30pm on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June, before taking them on at 1:30pm on Sunday. All games will take place at Oaklands College in St Albans.
