The England Under-18 preliminary squad for the 1996 born generation has been named, as they will look to build upon the team’s ninth place finish in their first ever Division A campaign this summer.
Under recently named new Head Coach, Karl Brown, the ’96s, will be led by the likes of guards Jules Dang Akodo (pictured, above) and Dwayne Lautier-Ogunleye, both members of this past summer’s squad.
The team faces no small task; last time the ’96 borns followed the ‘golden generation’ 95s’ Division A promotion, it resulted in relegation straight back to Division B.
Karl Brown’s side will have a joint camp with the under-16 men at Oaklands College, Hertfordshire, on the weekend of the 23rd November, to begin the initial phase of their preparation for next summer.
