Sweden and Italy completed the quarter-final line-up at EuroBasket Women on Monday as the second round came to a close.
Frida Eldebrink and Elisabeth Egnell had 17 points each as Sweden, who had led by as much as 16 in the second quarter, fought off a late fightback from Slovakia to secure their first last eight spot for 25 years with a 75-72 victory.
Earlier, Italy had stayed alive a late 13-4 run which took them into next phase with a 66-60 victory over Montenegro.
Spain claimed top spot in Group E by seeing off Turkey in the battle of two unbeaten sides with designs on a medal in France.
